The Chief of Staff will have responsibility in assisting the principals in their personal initiatives, in particular assisting them to oversee and manage their homes and household staff.
The individual will have a ‘white glove’ approach to supporting principals with a proven track record as a personal/private chief of staff or personal assistant to UHNW individuals.
The individual will be experienced, proactive, and able to demonstrate exceptional planning and organisational skills, remaining calm under pressure and working with flexibility across various time zones.
The role is ideally suited to either an experienced chief of staff or personal PA looking for a long-term and rewarding career with a desire to take their career to the next level.
This is a varied role where excellent communication skills are fundamental, and the successful candidate will be robust, enthusiastic, and committed to building relationships (with other staff members, external stakeholders as well as similar high-profile individuals). They will be exceptionally organised, intelligent, self-directed and proactive.
This role is primarily London-based but will include international travel when required by the principals.
Key Responsibilities to include:
- Assisting the principals with all personal and private matters (which include charitable, extensive art collections and other endeavours). Acting as the key contact for, and gateway to, the principals for all their personal and private matters.
- Ability to manage, prioritise and respond to all emails and calls in an efficient and professional way.
- Hire, liaise with and manage household staff.
- Manage the principals’ properties.
- Being able to deal with all persons, of all levels, in a professional, effective and confidential manner.
- Researching to find the best venues, professionals, contractors as well as general research skills to find answers for the principals. Should have a strong “black book” of contacts that can be called upon to assist in completing tasks efficiently and to a high standard.
- Liaising and overseeing contractors, consultants, designers and other professionals across the principals’ properties, and resolving issues while keeping the principals informed to ensure projects are successfully completed in a smooth manner.
- Assisting the principals to manage their portfolio of properties, transportation fleet and extensive art collection, as well as assisting with their charitable and other personal endeavours.
- International travel with full flexibility – to ensure the principals are fully supported.
- Event management (mainly USA and Europe) – VIP guest lists, invitations, food tastings and interior design for VIP/high profile dinners and parties.
- Sourcing hard to find items.
- Arranging all travel requirements (local and international); Planning travel itineraries, booking accommodation, coordinating with offices, arranging visas etc, organising ground crew and jet, organising chauffeur hire and calculating journey times.

- Flexible, be able to be on call in a manner as would be expected for a chief of staff working to UHNW principals.
- Able to commit to travel at short notice.

- Ability to work in a fast paced and challenging environment.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Be pleasant & unflappable.
- Good knowledge of Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook (IT literacy).
- Good working knowledge of Mac/ Apple products.
- Extensive list of useful contacts that can be called upon to assist VIPs, is a plus.
