Our client, an UHNW family, is seeking a vigilant and professional Residential Security and Houseman, to ensure the safety and security of a large. private residential property in Hampshire.
You will be responsible for protecting residents, monitoring access, and responding to any security concerns. Additionally, you will be required to assist the other staff on the estate with a variety of tasks, including caring for a fleet of cars and light outdoor work.
Key Responsibilities:
SECURITY
- Monitor and patrol the premises to prevent unauthorised access.
- This will include two shifts per week of night-time patrols (usually Friday and Saturday nights), plus occasional additional nights when required.
- Control entry points and verify the identity of visitors and contractors
- Respond to alarms and emergencies efficiently
- Report any suspicious activity and write detailed incident reports
GENERAL/AD-HOC DUTIES - Assist with light outdoor work when required, such as watering the garden, keeping terraces clean and tidy, raking gravel etc.
- Assist in the care of a fleet of vehicles, such as driving cars to the garage for servicing, keeping cars and garages clean and tidy.
- Assisting the other household/estate staff with ad-hoc duties as and when required.
Requirements: - All candidates must be from a military background. This is an essential requirement for this role.
- Nepalese speaker
- Previous experience in security (UHNW residential security experience preferred)
- A team player, who is willing to get involved in many aspects of residential/estate life and assist in multiple areas, not just security.
- You must hold a UK driving licence, preferably with no points.
- A clean DBS
- Physically fit and able to work long shifts, including nights and weekends
- Strong observational and communication skills
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle emergencies professionally
- Professional and discreet approach to work
Working days: - Working five days per week, to include every weekend (time off given during the week).
- The weekends will be night shifts (usually Friday and Saturday night), involving patrolling the grounds of the residence.
Salary and Benefits - c. £40,000 - £60,000 DOE
- Live-in accommodation comprises a two-bedroom cottage on the estate, which can accommodate a partner and/or family
