Our client is seeking a highly organised, proactive and experienced House Manager to oversee and manage their large private residence in South Africa.
 
Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage all household staff 
  • Coordinate and oversee maintenance, repairs and service providers
  • Manage household budgets, accounts, and inventories
  • Plan and oversee events, dinner parties and guest visits
  • Create, manage and update multiple inventories.
  • Ensure security and smooth running of the home at all times
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness, organisation and hospitality
  • Handle errands, shopping and personal assistant tasks as required
  • Report to, and work with, the Estate Manager
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in a similar role (minimum 3–5 years preferred)
  • Strong leadership, organisational and communication skills
  • Excellent knowledge of household systems and high standards of service
  • Tech-savvy with the ability to manage schedules and budgets digitally
  • Discretion, reliability and strong attention to detail
  • Valid driving license and clear criminal record
