Our client is seeking a highly organised, proactive and experienced House Manager to oversee and manage their large private residence in South Africa.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage all household staff
- Coordinate and oversee maintenance, repairs and service providers
- Manage household budgets, accounts, and inventories
- Plan and oversee events, dinner parties and guest visits
- Create, manage and update multiple inventories.
- Ensure security and smooth running of the home at all times
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness, organisation and hospitality
- Handle errands, shopping and personal assistant tasks as required
- Report to, and work with, the Estate Manager
Requirements: - Proven experience in a similar role (minimum 3–5 years preferred)
- Strong leadership, organisational and communication skills
- Excellent knowledge of household systems and high standards of service
- Tech-savvy with the ability to manage schedules and budgets digitally
- Discretion, reliability and strong attention to detail
- Valid driving license and clear criminal record
