Our client is seeking a proactive, hands-on, and experienced Estate Manager to oversee the daily operations, maintenance and strategic planning of a large private estate in South Africa.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all estate operations including infrastructure, security, landscaping and staffing.
- Manage budgets, suppliers and service contracts.
- Implement preventative maintenance and improvement projects.
- Manage a team of groundsmen, maintenance staff, security and domestic workers - about 30 staff in total.
- Create, maintain and update multiple inventories.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Daily record keeping and regular reporting to the principals
Requirements: - Minimum 5 years’ experience in private estate management at UHNW level.
- Strong leadership and organisational skills. Willingness to roll up sleeves, with a hands-on approach.
- Knowledge of security systems, garden/landscape management, and maintenance planning.
- Confident with financial management and accounting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Valid driving license.
