One of our private clients requires an experienced House Manager to lead the operations of a modern, design-led UHNW household with primary residence in London, and additional homes in Europe.
 
This is a newly created role for a highly organised professional with substantial private household and hospitality management experience. The principal is seeking a true House Manager — someone with deep operational expertise in UHNW homes and/or luxury hospitality environments, rather than a PA transitioning into private service.
The successful candidate will oversee the smooth running of multiple residences and lead household teams to ensure each property operates seamlessly whether the principals are in residence or travelling.
 
The principals typically spend several months at each residence across the year while travelling extensively elsewhere.
The household style is modern, highly organised and efficiency-driven, with a strong emphasis on systems, technology and proactive communication. The principals value professionalism, clarity and structure.

Key Responsibilities

• Full operational management of the London residence with oversight of European residences
• Managing and coordinating household teams across all properties
• Ensuring residences are maintained and run to the principals' standards at all times, whether or not they are in residence
• Oversight of F&B service standards, hospitality and in-residence entertaining
• Implementing and maintaining operational systems, inventories and household protocols
• Managing vendors, contractors and household budgets where required
• Coordinating with the principals' PA team and travelling staff
• Planning ahead for arrivals, departures and seasonal transitions between residences
• Maintaining a highly organised and detail-oriented household environment

• Significant experience as a House Manager within UHNW private households or luxury estates
• Strong understanding of household operations, service standards and team leadership
• Willing to travel, often for a month at a time
• Experience overseeing multiple residences or estates is highly desirable
• Highly organised with excellent systems, planning and operational discipline
• Comfortable working with technology-driven households and digital systems
• Discreet, proactive and confident managing at UHNW level
• Excellent communicator with a calm, solutions-oriented approach
