One of our private clients requires a Property Assistant & Guest Relations Assistant to join their private family office in North London.
 
The Role
This is a genuinely hands-on, varied position spanning property operations, guest relations and general family office support. The successful candidate will work directly alongside the family's property team on construction and property-related projects, which may include working on-site, assisting contractors, and undertaking practical, physical tasks.
 
The role is not desk-based and is not a predominantly concierge or office-based position; candidates should be genuinely enthusiastic about the practical and property-focused elements of the role, not solely the client-facing aspects.
 
Property Operations

• Supporting construction and property projects, working alongside senior property staff
• Assisting contractors and undertaking hands-on, practical tasks, including on construction sites
• General property support and upkeep across the portfolio

• General errands and ad hoc requests in support of the principals
• Assisting with day-to-day family office tasks, including occasional gift wrapping and similar duties
• Occasional support with pet care

• A genuinely hands-on approach, with a willingness to undertake physical and practical tasks
• Confident working directly with demanding principals and navigating a range of personalities
• Resilient and unflustered under pressure, while remaining responsive and demonstrating urgency when required
• Strong critical thinking, sound judgement and the ability to prioritise competing demands
• Proactive, responsive and comfortable moving between different areas of responsibility at short notice
• Background in property, estate, hospitality or private household environments preferred
• Comfortable working in a household with cats
