West London (with extensive international travel)
Salary: c. £55,000 - £65,000 depending on experience, plus a discretionary bonus and a per diem allowance when travelling.
 
One of our private clients requires an experienced Travelling Lady's Maid / Housekeeper to join a large, fully staffed household based in West London.
 
The Role
Based at the family's London residence, the successful candidate will provide dedicated wardrobe and personal support, alongside general housekeeping within an established household team. The role involves extensive international travel with the family, at times for prolonged periods, so genuine enthusiasm for a mobile lifestyle is essential. When in London, the successful candidate will work closely with the wider housekeeping team to maintain the residence to the highest standards.
 
Key Responsibilities

• Packing and unpacking for frequent and extended international travel
• Laundry, pressing and garment care to an exceptional standard
• Expert care of delicates, fine fabrics and a couture wardrobe
• Wardrobe organisation and maintenance, both at home and while travelling
• Supporting the housekeeping team with general housekeeping and cleaning duties
• Working collaboratively with the wider household staff to ensure the smooth running of the home

• Extensive Housekeeper and/or Lady's Maid experience within an UHNW private household
• Proven expertise in the care of couture garments, delicates and luxury fabrics
• Experienced and comfortable working as part of a large household team
• Five-star hotel experience an advantage, though not essential
• Happy with extensive, sometimes prolonged, international travel at short notice
• Discreet, polished and professional, with exceptional attention to detail
• Fluent English
