Cat Nanny (with Housekeeping duties)

Are you a feline enthusiast with a sense of adventure? A unique opportunity has arisen for an experienced and dedicated Cat Nanny to join a private household, providing full-time care for three cats belonging to an UHNWI, along with Housekeeping duties.
These well-travelled feline companions accompany their principal on global travels, requiring a devoted caregiver who can offer consistent, high-quality care wherever they may be.
The Role:
You will be responsible for the complete wellbeing of the cats, including:
- Daily feeding
- Daily grooming of the cats, including washing, brushing, clipping and trimming coats, cutting nails and cleaning ears.
- Cleaning and maintaining litter trays and feeding stations
- Administration associated with travel - prehealth checks, vaccinations, heath records etc.
- Administering medication and attending veterinary appointments
- Monitoring health, behaviour and comfort
- Ensuring their needs are met during flights, hotel stays and extended residences abroad
- Taking photographs and providing daily updates to the Principal
- Keeping household furniture clean of pet hair
- Ensuring cat trackers are set and monitored
- Providing enrichment, stimulation and affection tailored to each cat’s personality
- Working with a wider Houekeeping team, keeping all rooms immaculately clean and tidy at all times.
Requirements: - Previous experience in animal care, ideally with cats (pet nannies, vet nurses or similar roles encouraged)
- Previous experience working as a Housekeeper in an UHNW household is essential
- Confident handling and administering pet medication
- Impeccable attention to detail, organisation and a calm demeanour
- Valid passport and full flexibility to travel internationally at short notice
- Comfortable working in luxury private settings with utmost discretion and professionalism
- A genuine love for animals and an understanding of feline behaviour
Contract Details: - Position: Full-time, permanent
- Hours: 08:00 - 16:00, five days per week
- Location: Predominantly based in London, with some global travel
- Salary: c. £55,000 per annum, with all travel and accommodation expenses covered
