Private PA /Executive Assistant
North Devon
Salary: c. £50,000 - £60,000 depending on experience.
One of our private clients requires an exceptionally capable Private PA to join their established and busy office in Devon. This is a full-time, office-based position, five days per week.
The principals and their family are extremely busy and hands-on, running multiple businesses. This is not a quiet family PA role. You will be a genuine right-hand who anticipates needs, makes their lives simpler and gets things done with minimal direction.
The role involves complex and ever-changing diary management and extensive door-to-door travel that you research, organise and book yourself. It also covers busy daily PA work, administration and impromptu tasks as they arise. Out of hours support is expected, and you must be committed and prepared to be available when needed.

- Extensive door-to-door travel arrangements, including private aviation

Candidate Profile - PA or Executive Assistant, ideally with previous experience in a family office team
- A solid track record of 5+ years showing longevity and commitment to previous principals
- Confident and commercially minded, with strong business awareness and a clear grasp of how time, cost and quality interact and affect the needs of the principals
- A critical thinker who always questions what is needed, with excellent common sense
- Highly confident in IT, email and MS Office; someone very tech-savvy would be ideal
- Excellent spoken and written English
- Meticulous attention to detail, taking pride in every task with nothing ever too small
- Able to follow established protocols, systems and procedures while staying flexible and adaptable to change
- Self-sufficient and proactive from approach to completion, hands-on and flexible with working hours
- Team player with a can-do attitude and a natural problem solver
- Excellent communicator with both principals and colleagues
- Honest, reliable and discreet, with a calm demeanour and the ability to work well under pressure
- Practical and unpretentious, without being overly corporate or rigid
- Must live within a realistic commute and be able to be on site five days per week
