One of our private clients is seeking an experienced, professional, and energetic Live-Out Rota Nanny to join a well-established household team for a family based in West London. This is a full-time position working alongside another Nanny in a rota system, within a large family home.
This role would suit a warm, fun, and proactive Nanny who enjoys working as part of a team in a dynamic household environment. The family has one child (primary school age), and Mum is very hands-on and involved.

Working Pattern - Rota: 7 days on / 7 days off (Tuesday-Monday) while in residence
- Term Time Hours:
- Weekdays: 12:00pm - 9:00pm
- Weekends: 9:00am - 9:00pm (dependent on family requirements)
- School Holidays & Travel:
- Full days based on family schedule (typically 9:00am - 9:00pm)
Flexibility is essential, particularly during travel periods. For trips longer than 7 days, the on-duty Nanny will be expected to remain for the duration, with longer trips shared between the rota Nannies.
Key Duties & Responsibilities - Ensuring the child's care, safety, wellbeing, and happiness at all times
- Creating a stimulating, enjoyable, and nurturing environment
- Anticipating the child's needs and adapting to daily routines
- Maintaining all child-related areas, including playrooms, stations, toys, and equipment
- Ensuring prams, pushchairs, car seats, and child items are clean, stocked, and well maintained
- Preparing school items and liaising with the household team daily
- Supporting trip planning, packing, unpacking, and organising activities
- Forward planning and managing stock of children's items, liaising with management for purchases
- Working collaboratively with the household and operational team
- Passing on detailed handovers to the rota Nanny and management team
- Being intuitive and "reading the room" to support Mum when assistance is required
- Comfortable working around family pets
- Carrying out any reasonable ad hoc duties as required
Candidate Requirements - Proven experience as a professional Nanny within an UHNW, fully-staffed private household
- Fun, energetic, warm, and approachable personality
- Not suited to a disciplinarian approach
- Flexible, adaptable, and calm under pressure
- Highly organised, proactive, and tidy
- Discreet, trustworthy, attentive, and patient
- Fluent spoken and written English
- Immaculate personal presentation
- Confident using Microsoft Word and Excel
- Comfortable working within a large household team
- Non-smoker
- Must hold a UK or EU passport (travel essential)
Salary & Benefits - Salary: £50,000 gross per annum (negotiable for the right candidate)
