Salary: c. £45,000 - £55,000 depending on experience.
One of our private clients requires an experienced and capable Housekeeper / Family Assistant to join a busy, active family household in London. This is a varied and rewarding role, with a target start date of mid-August.
The Role
This position is broadly split 80% housekeeping/household management and 20% family support. The successful candidate will take ownership of a large five-storey property, ensuring it runs smoothly and efficiently on a day-to-day basis. As the family travels frequently and at short notice, flexibility and reliability are essential (you will not usually be required to travel with the family).
Key Responsibilities
The family has three teenagers who are largely independent. This is not a traditional nanny role; rather, the successful candidate will provide a steady, supportive presence and practical assistance when needed.
The Ideal Candidate
Private live-in accommodation is provided, comprising a self-contained lower-ground floor suite with its own kitchen and bathroom. The position may suit a couple, subject to discussion.
Working hours
Monday to Friday with some ad-hoc weekend support. Flexibility required during travel periods

- Organising and maintaining a large family home to a high standard
- Managing laundry, household systems, grocery shopping, and general upkeep
- Occasional light cooking for the children
- Driving the children to activities and appointments as required
- Maintaining household routines and providing support to three teenage children
