Salary: c. €3,000 net per person, per month, depending on experience + accommodation
 
One of our private clients requires an experienced and highly professional Domestic Couple to join a well-established private household in the South of France.
 
The Role
This is a live-in position within a prestigious private residence, working for an ultra high net worth family. The principals are not in residence throughout the year; however, the role demands consistent dedication and the maintenance of impeccable standards at all times.
During July and August, when the principals are in residence, the couple will work extended hours as part of a fully staffed household. The position also requires travel to a private residence in the Alps for approximately three weeks each December.
 
Duties - Partner One
Handyman and houseman duties, driving, maintenance and light gardening responsibilities.
 
Duties - Partner Two
All aspects of housekeeping to an exceptional standard, together with light cooking duties (mostly for the children - the family also have a private chef).
 
Working Hours
Monday to Friday during quieter periods, with significantly extended hours required during July and August and whenever the principals are in residence.
 
Accommodation
A two-bedroom house with its own private entrance is provided, along with use of a car. Older children and pets are welcome.
 
The Ideal Candidates
Both candidates must have extensive experience working within ultra high net worth private households and demonstrate exceptionally high standards across all areas of their work. A background in five-star hotel environments, combined with private house experience, is strongly preferred. A full driving licence is essential. Candidates must be able to live and work in France, and French language skills are required.
