Property & Grounds Facilities Coordinator

Salary: c. £26,500 depending on experience.
One of our private clients requires a reliable and proactive Property & Grounds Facilities Coordinator to maintain a small portfolio of private properties across South West and Central London.
The Role
This is a hands-on, autonomous position suited to someone who takes pride in keeping gardens and outdoor areas to a high standard, while also taking ownership of general property maintenance, minor project management and contractor coordination. The successful candidate will ensure that both the interiors and exteriors of each property are meticulously maintained, safe and fully functional, combining practical upkeep with strong organisational and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Carrying out general property maintenance and odd jobs
- Conducting regular walkthrough inspections, testing and safety checks of buildings and grounds, proactively identifying and reporting maintenance issues
- Maintaining large gardens, including regular lawn mowing, edging, cutting back trees and plants, practical clearance and general outdoor tidiness
- Carrying out routine pool care, including cleaning, chemical balancing and ongoing maintenance
- Sourcing comparative quotes from local tradespeople for specialist electrical, roofing and heating repairs
- Self-managing daily schedules, workloads and changing priorities across multiple sites
- Assessing the individual requirements of each property and allocating time efficiently
- Managing basic budgets to ensure cost-effective upkeep and resource planning
- Acting as the primary on-site contact for external contractors, granting access, guiding and supervising works
- Providing clear updates to management on significant property issues, with proposed solutions, timelines and costs
Candidate Profile - Previous experience in gardening and general property maintenance
- Basic knowledge of pool maintenance
- A practical, hands-on approach with good attention to detail
- Experience organising minor property projects, managing maintenance schedules and tracking repairs
- Knowledge of health and safety practices relating to tool use and chemical handling
- A highly organised approach to managing equipment and tools stored across multiple locations
- Proven experience coordinating external contractors or sourcing quotes from local tradespeople
- Reliable, trustworthy and able to work independently using sound common sense
- Full UK driving licence
