c. £70,000 combined salary D.O.E.
 
One of our private clients requires an experienced and professional live-in couple to join a busy family household in Wiltshire.
 
The main residence is a large six-bedroom farmhouse with one acre of land and a swimming pool.  Staff accommodatoin comprises a recently renovated two-bedroom cottage.
 
This is a long-term position ideally suited to a proactive, highly organised couple who enjoy working together and becoming part of a family environment.
 
The Role
 
The couple will be responsible for the smooth day-to-day running of the household and grounds, ensuring the property is maintained to the highest standard. Duties will be shared depending on experience and strengths.
 
Household & Domestic Duties

• Full housekeeping 
• Laundry and ironing
• Preparing and cooking family meals
• Food shopping, keeping the house fully stocked with groceries and household supplies

Family & Lifestyle Support

• Dog sitting and dog walking
• Running errands for the family
• Driving duties as required
• Occasionally assisting at the family's London property when needed

Property & Outdoor Maintenance

• General handyman duties and basic property maintenance
• Upkeep of the grounds and swimming pool
• Looking after the family vehicles, including cleaning and basic checks

 
Candidate Requirements
 
The family are seeking a positive, proactive couple with a "can-do" attitude and a genuine passion for working within a private household.
Applicants must have:

• Extensive previous experience working as a couple in private households
• A professional yet friendly approach
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
• A flexible and discreet attitude
• Confidence in cooking family-style meals
• Strong practical skills 
• A full driving licence (both partners ideally)

You must also be:

• Dog-friendly and comfortable around pets
• Child-friendly and happy working in a busy family home
• Reliable, trustworthy and self-motivated

 
Package

• Salary: c. £70,000 combined
• Accommodation: Private, newly renovated two-bedroom cottage
• Schedule: 5 days per week, most weekends required with time off in lieu during the week
