The Role
Based primarily at a private residence in Kensington, the successful candidate will provide a genuine all-round housekeeping and cooking service for one principal, alongside day-to-day care of a small dog. This is very much a self-starter role, suited to someone confident working independently, keeping their own systems and checklists, and using their initiative to keep the home running smoothly. - Planning and preparing flavourful, healthy meals, with a preference for Asian-inspired cooking and fresh, seasonal ingredients
- Day-to-day care of a small dog, including basic training and ongoing socialisation
- Occasional live-in cover for one to two weeks at a time when the principal is travelling, to ensure continuity of the dog's care
- Maintaining clear household checklists and systems, working independently with minimal supervision
- Communicating and coordinating via WhatsApp and other everyday apps, including for recipes and planning
Requirements - Proven experience in a similar private household role
- A warm, friendly, professional and adaptable personality
- A genuine self-starter, comfortable managing their own workload and time
- Confident and capable with pets, ideally with some dog training experience
- Happy with frequent travel, including regular time in Italy and occasional ad hoc trips to other locations across Europe
- Comfortable using WhatsApp and basic apps for day-to-day communication
- Fluent English
- Tagalog speaker preferred but not essential
Hours & Location Based primarily in Kensington, London, with around 30% of time spent in Milan and further ad hoc travel as required. Live-in flexibility needed to cover periods when the principal is away.
