Residential Security Officer
West London - Live-out
Salary: c. £60,000 depending on experience.
Rota - seven days on/off
 
One of our private clients requires a reliable, discreet Residential Security Officer to join the security team at a UHNW private residence in West London.
 
The Role
Working as part of an established residential security team, the successful candidate will help protect the safety, security and privacy of the family and their home. The role is based largely within the security control room, covering CCTV, alarms, access control and the house systems, with occasional support for the wider household and estate team when needed. The position would suit someone with sound judgement, a calm manner and a genuine commitment to the standards of private service.
The role runs on a 7 days on / 7 days off rota, working 12-hour shifts that alternate between days (7am-7pm) and nights (7pm-7am) on a weekly basis. This is a live-out, PAYE position, available to start as soon as possible, with full training provided.
 
Key Responsibilities

• Monitoring CCTV, intruder and fire alarm systems, identifying and acting on any potential threats or breaches
• Responding to incidents and emergencies calmly, professionally and in line with agreed procedures
• Managing all access to the property, including visitors, contractors and deliveries
• Operating the house systems from the security control room and escalating any faults promptly
• Maintaining accurate security logs and records, and providing clear, thorough shift handovers
• Working closely with the Security Team Leaders, the household team and the Family Office
• Supporting the wider team with general estate duties as required

• SIA Close Protection licence (essential)
• Previous experience in residential security or within a comparable UHNW private household
• A stable employment history demonstrating reliability and longevity in previous roles
• Excellent judgement and situational awareness, remaining composed under pressure
• Polished, personable and professional, with strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Highly discreet and trustworthy, with complete respect for privacy and confidentiality
• A collaborative team player who follows procedures consistently
• Living within a reasonable commute of West London
