One of our private clients, an UHNW family,  is seeking an exceptional Head Chef to join their internationally focused culinary team based in New York, US.
 
The successful candidate will split their time between:

• Leading kitchen operations in an UHNW private residence in New York
• International travel assignments
• Culinary training and development
• Supporting luxury private dining experiences and projects

Travel forms a significant part of the role, including opportunities to attend specialist culinary and pastry training programs internationally.
 
The Role
You will oversee a small but high-performing culinary team, ensuring exceptional standards across all areas of kitchen management and execution.
This role requires a hands-on leader who is equally comfortable:

• Running service
• Managing chefs
• Training teams
• Travelling internationally
• Working within highly professional private environments

Key Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day kitchen operations in NY
• Manage and mentor a team of chefs
• Deliver consistently exceptional culinary standards
• Assist with international training and development projects
• Travel internationally as required
• Menu development and culinary innovation
• Maintain excellent kitchen organisation and operational standards

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Head Chef or Senior Sous Chef in UHNW private household (essential and non-negotiable)
• Strong leadership and people management skills
• Experience managing teams of at least 3 chefs
• Comfortable working 5-6 days per week when required
• International experience is advantageous
• Flexible and willing to travel frequently
• Professional, discreet, adaptable, and highly organised
